Designer’s Notes
We are thrilled to present the HOODED ARK; a new design that redefines what is possible in the 100-foot performance cruising market space.
Exterior and interior styling are crafted by the world-renowned Italian design studio Micheletti and Partners, while naval architecture is led by Farr Yacht Design. This latest collaboration between the two storied studios—whose previous works include the World Superyacht Awards Sailing Yacht of the Year for the Baltic 142 Canova and the stunning ICE Yachts ICE 66RS—reflects a shared vision that blends artistry and craftsmanship with technology and engineering to create a vessel of timeless innovation.
HOODED ARK is a lightweight but well-appointed high performance cruising yacht targeted at both coastal and long-distance cruising with a crew consisting of the Owner, Owners friends and family and a limited professional crew.
From her tapered bow to her flowing deck lines, HOODED ARK is engineered for long-range cruising with minimal resistance and maximum comfort. Her beam expands subtly to create spacious interiors without compromising performance. The deck layout guides movement intuitively from helm to hatch. The deck house itself is sculpted in harmony with a shell's proportions, creating a striking silhouette that balances form and function. A unique deck and interior arrangement seamlessly blend exterior and interior living spaces, affording protection from the elements while offering unrivaled sight lines and a continuous connection to the surrounding seascape.
