Designer’s Notes
Design #720 Bavaria Cruiser 40 The Cruiser 40 follows on the heels of the well received Cruiser 45 in Bavaria’s new Cruiser line. Farr Yacht Design’s goal in partnership with Bavaria is to create a line of well engineered sailboats for yachting enthusiasts seeking performance in a functional, comfortable and spacious design package. All sail handling lines are led aft to the cockpit for efficiency and safety promoting an uncluttered feeling while on deck. The wide cockpit with its twin wheel steering allows the helmsman good visibility on all points of sail and provides crew and guests easy passage from transom to below decks. The Cruiser 40 offers plenty prime spots for sun bathing including a folding swim platform for ease of entering boat after a swim.
